No, I didn't... but, when I applied it today, I get UEs... always the same one, always very annoying. I've restarted my comp, but it doesn't help... I hate how it always happens... curses!!!
Oh, in case one of you sees a fix for UEs online, then one I'm getting is c0000005 027d4409.... I'm don't know what's going on, but can someone help me?

I've had patches hose my T2 install, until I found out that deleting .dso files should be done *before* you patch.
Heck, now I delete the dso's before I patch, before I add any new scripts, and if I'm feeling paranoid (like before a match), I'll delete 'em then, too. :) I get very few crashes.
You may have to reinstall and patch from scratch (w00t! poetry!). Were I you, I'd get the 'manual' patches from TribalWar (patch link on left) and apply those. Last time I did this, I uninstalled, made sure all the files were gone, reinstalled, got the manual patch, patched, and THEN started T2 for the first time. Seemed to help.

What the *Beep* is a .dso? If you can delete them, why are they there and where do they come from?

.dso are what Dynamix calles 'compiled scripts'. Basically, when you run the game, T2 looks at all the scripts, compiles 'em so they run faster, and sticks 'em in .dso files.
The problem with that is that T2 doesn't check and recompile the .dso's, so if you patch or add something without deleting the .dso, T2 thinks that the content of the .dso (your old, pre-patch copy of T2) is the correct one, even though you have newer scripts.
Deleting the .dso forces the game to re-read all of the scripts and recompile 'em from scratch.

At any rate, Sierra told me to delete my clientprefs.cs, so it would remake itself... However, things still aren't working. I think it might be the WickedGL drivers... if they messed around with the graphics for T2 a lot, the drivers might no longer work. :( I'll see what I can do.

This is just a note as to my presence in practice for the next while (until dynamix takes back their latest patch). I can't play the game... I could play it in 640x480, splitscreen mode, but that's nearly unplayable... Plus, everything gets all screwed up... I don't know what to do, but I think Dynmaix messed up the file opengl2d3d.dll... It's what is causing all of my UE's...

Ahhh, poor Laurelin. The one and only problem with computers is that the probability of your computer working is proportional to the amount of money you spend on it. BUT, the probability of your computer working on any given day is inversely proportianal to the importance of it working on that day. It's like the first rule of computers! Gee!

Well, we'll see how Sierra responds to my musing... I have a feeling I'm going to be in touch with Tech Support a lot over the next few weeks.
Laur, just a warning, but you'll notice that Sierra will send you the same e-mails over and over after a while. Also, try installing the latest drivers from 3DFX instead of WickedGL
