WHOOOOOOOOSH!
At school I was playing Counter Strike with my friends and I cleared an entire level of the best players in my class without them even knowing where I was... and my reply to each of them with each kill was "I AM THE WIND!" shortly after I changed my name to THZ*Kitzunekaze... which means Foxwind. It was rather funny, and since then the new nickname has stuck. so the mighty "Fox" name evolves yet again.

but I ... am THE WIND
He's right you know.
But insaneferret has a dancing tanuki with giant balls! And MAN are they hypnotic.
(Incidentally, ferret, where'd you get that translation? It doesn't make sense to me... I'd have said kyouteki feretto, since as far as I know there is no native Japanese word for "ferret". But I dunno. I'd post the kanji but I don't think the board supports them...)

i just browsed the web for the meanings of the words, i'm certain shiroitachi means ferret, as i found a clear cut translation of that HERE (http://www.weaselwords.com/pages/glossary.asp) and elsewhere, i actially couldn't find the word for insane, because its such a common word to describe the japanese language and fouled my search, but i found somewhere that kyoo was japanese for mad so i just mixed em together in the same order as kitzunekaze, adjective after the noun (is that right)
so assuming kyouteki means insane from your post, i guess it should be shiroitachi kyouteki
i thought they would sound cooler, both being small furry deranged animals
if you could get me the symbols for it that would be great, would vectorize them and use them in sigs and such
edit, just noticed, would *kyou*teki = kyoo ?

Ferret's sig is not a ferret. Looks more like a racoon. Or a dude in a suit. :)

well its obvious its a dude in a suit, but the animal the suit represents is ambiguous, could be a raccoon or a black footed ferret (the most common breed), ferrets and raccoons are extremely closeley related, only difference is racoons are bigger and have a bushy tail compated to the ferrets flat wedge shaped tail

Hoho! It took me a while, but I DID find the word you meant. Apparently "itachi" means "weasel", and I can only assume the "shiro" is the character for "white", so white weasel. Hmmmm.
edit, just noticed, would *kyou*teki = kyoo ?
"Kyoo" and "kyou" are two different ways of spelling the same Japanese sounds, and "-teki" is something stuck onto, say, a state to make it an adjective. In Japanese, adjectives do generally come before the noun they describe. What I forgot in my first post there was that "na" usually follows to make the subject clearer.
So now that I've confused everyone including myself, the final product would be "kyouteki na shiroitachi"! I may still be mistaken, but as far as I know it's correct. Brzap!
http://www.geocities.com/lanatheme/kyoutekinashiroitachi.txt
THAT was painstaking. :p EDIT: Make sure to rename it to a .jpg when you save it, ferret: it's a .txt right now for direct-linking purposes from GeoCities.
And re: ferret's avatar, it's a really weird reference to Japanese mythology. Raccoon dogs are known in Japan as "tanuki", and generally portrayed as drunken mischief-makers who play tricks by shapeshifting into teakettles or monks. They are deities of gluttony and drunkenness, and for some bizarre reason are often portrayed with comically gigantic balls. I couldn't make this stuff up, folks!

That racoon is from a TV commercial in Japan... it was on Albinoblacksheep.com for a while... It's a comercial about a construction company that considers itself to be good for the environment... the commercial shows a little red riding hood type girl walking through the forest with all sorts of animals around her... all of a sudden the animals have huge balls and breasts and dance around to some really bad jingle. It's absolutely hilarious if you can find it... But yes, it's for a construction company. At the end the girl sees this guy with the big balls and goes "WOW!"

O_O I would do something a little different than "Wow" if I saw a construction worker with big balls....

i found it, wow, crazy japanese people, i give up trying to figure them out
i actually made this avatar from a gif file i found showing the swinging and the girl saying wow, i removed the girl, reversed the anim to make it seamless and added the purple eyes

That's pretty cool picture!
And yeah plasma to the back isn't very cool... as king Priam said in Troy just before Agammemnon speared him through the back... "HAVE YOU NO HONOUR!?"
