Done in 3dstudio or Maya, it looks great. It's not as hard as it looks though. with 3D rendering being able to be used in Flash now, you'll see more stuff of this calibur.
THis has been up on Albinoblacksheep.com for a couple months now... I have to say that's one of my favourite sites now.
