Got this in my school's email inbox this morning.

I didn't send anything like this. And if it's a virus or worm, it couldn't have come from my school account because they run unix and don't allow those things to be executed locally.


I ran a virus scan of my system last Friday, and I'm clean. Just an FYI so that if anything is going on on your end, you can fix it. :D

I've had it happen before as well.... what it is someone using your email as the sender, even if it didn't originate from you. I had an email sent to me from my university's Mailer-Daemon telling me my email with an attachment had been denied, when I sent no such thing.

it can be both Laurelin, it could be someone or it could be a virus on your pc

But with the recent ammount of worms, it is most likey just some worm using his email addy as the sender.
