Lord of the Rings won all 11 awards it was nominated for last night, tying it for most awards won at one ceremony with Ben-Hur and Titanic.
Hotties of the show included: Uma Thurman (yum), Nicole Kidman (always hot), Johnny Depp (ultra-yum), Angelina Jolie (so good), and Charlize Theron (very nice)
Fuglies of the show included: Liv Tyler (What was with that look... Lisa Loeb glasses and sculpted stairs for a hairdo? man...), Dianne Keaton (She looked like she was going to a funeral... maybe her own?), and Renee Zellweger's dress (a white cape? ghey)
Honerable mention totally goes to Annie Lennox, who not only successfully concealed her age , but managed to look amazing, and took home her first oscar of her long career.

NIce thanks for the recap. I stopped watching award shows a while back but still interested in seeing who won and what everyone was wearing.
Ann Lennox is 50? Dang she looks good :).
The suit for Keaton, no no that was just wrong and the hat didnt help it at all.

I think they will be releasing the theatrical version in May, rather than August as before. That means that the extended version will come out sooner-duh, since they won't need to do it in November to drum up interest for the release of another LOTR movie this time. But I have no word as to when the EE will be definitely coming out, tho when I do hear, I will be sure to tell ya'll pronto!
