... I have the feeling that it is now well past the time for me to relinquish my post as THZ* XO. Seeing that we have enough XOs as it is, Stang becoming more active in ATF and all, I feel that my 'services' aren't needed. Besides, my inactivity so far warrants my resignation.

Actually, hate to burst it. But as I look at the charter, I did demote you a little while ago. However, the position is always available to you if you feel you want it. Just say the word.

You are on the ATF boards and know what is going on, you dont need to be in the game until you are ready. Just bump Jester, isnt he an XO/CO?, and take his or my spot and bump me down to the lower one :D.

OK. So I talked to this friend of mine whom I gave my copy of Planetside after realizing I wouldn't be able to lay until mid-August anyway. He promised to get me a new copy of PS today, so unless patching the game up from the CD-install takes forever, I'll be playing PS live again tonight! :D

I'm so high on expectations that I can hardly sit still, and it's only 9 am. End of Workday is ETA -6 hours and 51 minutes and counting...

So expect to see me online sometime this weekend, for the first time since beta. I'd love for some of you to give me a quick rundown of how things work sometime, both concerning ATF's inner workings and Planetside gaming in general. Sure, I've been trying to keep tête-a-tête with the development of things, but still, lots of things have happened that I haven't had the opportunity to try for myself.

Are you going to be playing any time this weekend? Perhaps we could arrange for a meeting? I'll be sure to get my character through basic training at least. Any suggestions for certing? I've liked pretty much everything I've tried so far, so I'm open for most anything. Is there a lack of any certain kind of support roles currently? Medics, transport pilots, engis etc.

As you might remember I was primarily a Medic/Engineer during beta, but I've also tried my hands on some Galaxy piloting and quite a deal of Magrider driving, so I'm pretty comfortable with hose roles as well. Furthermore, since farming is my preferred task in T2, Combat Engineering would probably suit me fine in PS too.

WoC, you can ceryt in whatever you want... We have a great deal of everything, and I just got the Advanced Medcal Cert, but haven't had a chance to use it yet. :D

Cool. I'll try to do that. Don't know what plans the GF has for the weekend though, but I'll try to get some playing done.

I'm thinking that maybe I'd go for the infiltration suit. Haven't ever tried it and I feel that it might be nice to check it out for a while. Invisible Jesus or maybe Stealth Combat Engineer would be fun.

Infiltrator is fun :D. Thats what I do the most. I love being sneeky :D.

We also have been playing the other 2 empires too so make sure to look where we are on TS to make sure we are playing VS. We will never leave VS just need a different pace so the game doesnt die for all of us.

I cant wait til you get on! Ill play with ya :). Most of the time there is ALWAYS someone on.

Take his butt down to the store smack him upside the head and make him get your copy. Hes playing and preventing you from playing. Dont do that ever again :).

Nah, he isn't playing. He was with his gf to visit her grandmother in another town nearby and they got late. So instead of being back in Gothenburg by 6pm as he had planned, they were back at about 8pm. The store was then, naturally, closed, so instead he will try today. Besides they missed the last train back yesterday too, so he will have to try to leave the car today too.

We'll see. By this afternoon, (early morning PST) I should be up and running.
