Yup... that's one FRIED squirrel!
It's been there for about a year... since i got my Digicam I decided to get a picture of it, can't waste film on a digicam. It's whole head and upper body seems to have just fused into the wire... poor thing... we discovered it long ago because we could see the tail waving in the wind. now it's tail doesn't exist anymore :D

Heh, I once was spending some time out at my grandmothers house, out in the country. Summer vacation and all. Anyway, her den/living area looked out onto the road, and a power line pole with transformer was located on one side of her driveway, out there. So the window blinds are open, we are looking out the window, and all of a sudden, the transformer box explodes in a shower of spark and flame. A squirrel had leapt onto the box and for some reason, he (and the box) blew up. Odd.
