Well, I saw these bad-boys this morning while I was heading out to my car, and just HAD to snap a few pics. Thank goodness I had my camera with me, cause they melted away not two minutes after these shots were taken.

All of these fellows were extremely low-flying clouds, and they looked like someone had smoothed them out like good thick whipped cream or something. We do not get clouds like this very often around here--usually our clouds are much lumpier, and anything different tends to signal the onset of extremely nasty weather or a tornado or microburst... so you can imagine I was a little tense when I saw these. :)

We get those a good bit around here. I wouldn't say they were common, though, and they still make the meterologist in me go "Woah, cool!" :)
I'm gonna get some pics of funky Texas clouds up here sooner or later... :)

Wow Ambush Bug your computer musn't be very good, you must need a new video card or something because the terrain and clouds are being rounded out and simplified at long distances... With my computer I can see clouds clearly right up until the FOW
Geez, you just aren't l33t enough
