View Full Version : hamtaro
allthough talking hamsters might be cute, there is no justifiable reason to make a cartoon about how hamsters get into trouble and find a way out of it. :hammy:

Why not? They do it with any other animal or creature they think up.

There is a fighting food show At least here I get the British Fox Kids and they have this short called VWF Vegitable Wrestling Fedaration. I shouldn't have to explain any more. But my youngest loves Hamtaro. We even have the Opening and Ending themes on mp3 for him to listen to.
Ahhh the things we do for our children

That's so sad...
What happened to the good stuff, like GI Joe, Transformers (not the gay one they have now), Voltron, Thundercats, and Superfriends, and the Flintstones?
:(

No offence Ashaman but you must be as old as I am. It's good to know I am not the oldest one here (or at least the only one that remembers these shows).
i am one of the youngest here, but i agree with Ashaman. G.I. Joe is on Cartoon Network every sunday at either 12:30 or 1:00 in the morning.

Hehe ya we watch that GI Joe still. It is pretty funny though when you watch it now. It isn't quite what I remember. But those old cartoons are still better than what is out there today.

You can catch GI Joe on the weekends on the Cartoon Network like at 12am or 1am. They are on for an hour. The older Superfriends are on right after it.
Flinstones are on everyday :). I knew they played Thundercats for a while but dont know if they moved it to early morning or what.
I wish they would play all the good cartoons we grew up on on that channel then they wouldnt have to rerun any shows. They have played new ones and they need to play some of the oldies but goodies :). I mean come on its the CARTOON NETWORK HELLO!!!
no, thundercats is off the air right now.

Ok ok, so its on late night on Cartoon Network. Great but how many can remember the show when it was "NEW" I remember when it first aired as a program.
I hope some one else can say that. Please I don't want to be the only one that old.

I don't remember it being first aired, though it probably was when I started watching it.

I remember when most of those shows I mentioned above started. Except flintstones which is a bit older than me, I think.

Oh yeah I think that the flintstones started in the late 60's. I am not really sure though. We get something here called Boomerang which is a part of cartoon network. What it shows is the VERY old Hanna Barbara cartoon. Like Hong Kong Phooy and Stop the Pidgen, The Hair Bear Bunch, and others they also play the old Scooby-doo episodes. The best part is the Loony Toon that they play Everyone loves the Roadrunner.

Oh and can't forget Johnny Quest!
It's old and funny to watch now. But when I was younger it was pretty neat. My dad remembers that from when he was a kid.

BOOMERANG! Im not sure they do that one anymore on the CN but they use too :), its probably on late also with all the rest of the good ones.
Man I want to watch some old cartoons now they are the best!
On the CN they do have a show called Adult Swim and they show some newer shows but they are actually good.
What do you think of the new He-Man?
Same thing with the Sci-Fi channel man they played some of the oldies like BattleStar Galatica and Buck Rogers a few weeks ago but didnt say if it was going to be in their line up. Bring back some of those shows too :).
