When i we had our first child they had a full time nursery which gave Mommy time to rest and recouperate.

The second and third baby they keep the baby in the rrom with Mom and never giver her a break except for when they gotta stick em or hurt them for something.

Youd think they would be a little more compassionate about the Mothers care and rest instead of $$$$$.

Insurance companies suck if they cant make money at something they dont offer it.

When my grandmother was in the hospital she had a bad infection they didnt know where and they didnt care they were going to send her to a home said she could heal up there they couldnt do anything more for her. huh???

I thought hospitals were supposed to care for people instead they care only for the insuance companies and thier money.

I know they are bound by the insuance companies and have to do what they say but damn doesnt anybody with power or influence care that we treat our elderly like throw aways and treat our new mothers like they didnt just go through one of the most stressful and painful experiences ever?

Oh well all is good now my grandmother is not at thier mercy anymore and my wife and baby are home where people care.

Hey thanks for listening.

Yep now days it has come down to money and insurance and its VERY sad. What happen to the caring doctors that actually listen? Only seen on TV now. The need to look at themselves and remember why they are really there, to help people and show some compassion. Well thats why a good doctor is there to do.

It's funny to say this, but I haven't had that problem up here in Canada... The doctors are stupid, yes, but not necessarily uncompassionate.

I'm with Laurelin. The DRs here are very compassionate, and the nursing staff is top notch. I have nothing but good things to say about the children's wards in the hospitals here in MN. Even the Emergency room here in St. Cloud is excellent. BUT, The big disclaimer to this all is this: The local Hospital is a Catholic hospital, and a lare portion of their funding comes from the local catholic church, so the binds of the insurance companies aren't so tight...

Welcome to the American medical system it sucks ass and wants money. If you don't have insurance your **** out of luck. It dosen't matter that you have a compoud fracture that has split through an artery, money is all that matters and that the doc gets to keep his high class income.

Medical motto: Fu** the pacient, love the money

Ya know, if the nurse was pretty hot... That might be a better alternative to medical treatment... :lol
