In a spree of inspiration, I have decided to share with you (and indeed be introduced to your local flora of) proverbs. So I'll start by trying to translate a few Swedish proverbs for you:

"One should not sell the pelt, until the bear has been shot."
(Man skall inte sälja pälsen förrän björnen är skjuten.)

In plain: Don't make a promise you can't keep.

"One should not cross the river for water."
(Man skall inte gå över bäcken efter vatten.)

In plain: Avoid going to unnecessary lengths to achieve your goals.

"That which is not in one's head, must be in one's legs."
(Det man inte har i huvudet får man ha i benen.)

In plain: If you're not smart, you'll need to be fast. (A fact which indeed applies very well to Tribes, I'd say. "What can't be found in one's head, must be in one's jetpack", anyone? :P)

Now I've done my part, I'd like you to let me take part of your indigenous offering of sage words...

Just read my quotes.... that's about as proverbial as I get.

"I would get down with Barbie if she were at least 5 feet and... well... Living."

"Do I put the beans in the hole?"

"I drink my own pee... think that'll help?"

and of course

"It's amazing what a careful finger can do, Dyno."

*BTW WoC, I use to go by Blackjack all the way through Tribes 1 until Tribes 2 was released and someone got the name before me and I dislike special characters or numbers in names, so I changed to Gryphon :D Just some info if you see people say Bj or such.

Yeah, it doesn't mean he gives good head or something :P (Although, maybe sometime someone should find out...)

As far as proverbs go, I only live by one.

If, at the end of the day, someone still loves me, I'm doing the right thing.

Well, Laurelin, I must say that you sound like a sensible person.
