Now, as I'm all new and stuff, and you seem keen to get to know me and all, I thought I'd give you an honest chance. So if there's anything you want to know about me, anything at all, just go ahead and ask. I will try to answer any question you can think of...
.
( :wstupid3: )

Shoot.

BANG! :rocket:

Have you ever been to The United States? And if so where?

BANG!

What is your opinion on transgenderality and those afflicted by it?

(tee he he)

Okay, here you are...

Stang: Nope, afraid not. My mother went to New York last year, however. I'd like to visit the US sometime, but it's not exactly cheap, and being a student I'm not precisely rich, either. :(

KitZune: Um. Well, in my opinion everyone is free to do what they wish as long as it doesn't adversely affect anyone else. If a person wants to try out switching sexes, then it's their own business. It is a bit queer, though...

Where did your name (WoC) come from?

Did you play Tribes 1?

What other online games do you/ have you played?

If you were to be a vegetable, which one would you be and why?

KitZune

A bit queer eh?
Hrmmm

*KitZune knocks a few points off her WoC Brownie Points list*

Don't worry, In time you'll understand me...

Actually I can't promise that, most people will never really understand me.

I do.

/me offers Kit a fudge brownie.

:)

Question:
What animal do you identify most with, and why?

What are you studying? (I just finished my masters in aeronautics and astronautics.)

Are Scandinavian women really as hot as they say?

I don't really have a question, but I enjoy making token appearances and totally derailing threads with comments that usually start out like:

So I was having sex with my wife this ond afternoon when....

:lol

Why in the name of all that is decent would you ask for something like this WoC??

No we're not. We make an annual trip to the arctic in the spring to club baby seals and laugh. And when we're out as a group and we see a family with its new baby, we give the baby some candy, then steal it back!

Alright, let's see here. Quite a popular thread this, isn't it? I really did guess I'd be taking on a bit much, but I'll just have to manage... :)

Starting from the earliest post...
****************************************
Gryphon: I chose Walks on Clouds for my ingame nick by the following chain of thought:

"Hmm, let's see. I need a nice nick which noone else has taken before me. I'm tired of my old 3D shooter nick, Devourer, so that'll have to go. Okay, 'Tribes' sounds rather much like an indian thingie. (americna indians, that is) Hmm... 'Dances with Wolves' is just too tacky, but perhaps something along the same lines? One does use jetpacks quite a lot in Tribes. (This I knew after playing the SP demo...) Walks on Clouds could work. Besides, it has just enough room for misinterpretation... It'll have to do."

As to your second question: nope. Probably wasn't even born then. Or maybe I was, I can't quite seem to remember...

And thirdly: mostly shooters. UT, a little bit of Q3, some CS and TF. Lots of two-letter abbreviations, obviously.

******************************************
Laurelin: I'd definitely be a cucumber, because my... erh.. no, wait... :blush I'd be an..., a..., hrm..., a tomato for the time being, my face having the color it has. I'll just quote Shrek: "Ogres are like onions, you know?"

******************************************
KitZune: :( Oh no! not the Brownie Point list!!! :(

******************************************
Ashaman:
1) That would have to be a cat. There is a resemblance in manners as well as in, shall we say, physique. I'm, well I wouldn't say lazy, but perhaps a bit of a slacker. I am a creature of the night. (Sounds a bit more dramatic than it really is...) I'm tall, thin and agile. I do lack the fur, the tail and the whiskers, I'm afraid, but I'll try to see what can be done about it. :p

2) I'm studying for a civil Engineer's (is that the correct term?)degree in Computer Sciences. 4.5 yrs (of which I'm attending my second) at Chalmers university of Technology. Have any of you heard of it, btw? Chalmers, that is...

3) Oh, if you only knew... *yum*

*******************************************
Ahamkara: Well, I find it needless to do other than refer to the post succeeding yours. ;)
(For further info check the initial post, it's really quite honest... Quite.)

*****************************************
Ashaman: Yeah, so I've noticed... not! :) I must admit, alhough it hurts, that I find myself quite liking this whole thing. And I who have always patronized others because of their abundant online activities... I guess I'm getting old, or something.

You need to come onto IRC someday so I can make fun of joo... I mean talk to you.

Philosophical, lude... and a little nutty... sounds like you're a duplicate of me... So that can only come down to one thing:

Battle to the death. Through the use of words.
Engarde!

About your cucumber thing, don't worry about it... Afterall I AM the one who has the quote "Stang, My dillsnick is 2.5 hampsters long" on the quotes page.

And cats eh? Interesting choice... just hope that you know that Foxes consider cats to be a delicacy.

Cucumbers... mmmm... We want to be the same vegetable :D Isn't that exciting... Although I'm a little confused as to why you were blushing when you mentioned it:gryph11: :gryph11: ... maybe I'm just naïve and innocent...:lol

Stang

Yeah no need to blush around here. Have you seen some of the topics we talk about? :lol

I've acutally got an update for you people on the vegetable thingie. My girlfriend, when asked, immediately exclaimed that I would, "of course", be a leek. She referred to my being tall and thin, with a straggly something in the upper end. I'd actually rather be a cucumber however, since they taste better. :)+

And, KitZune, I've been thinking about our little discuccion of transgenderality. Not being a native speaker of the English language, I might have misunderstood your question. I was referring to the phenomenon entitled trans'sexuality', you know people changing sexes through surgery.

It struck me as likely a while after writing my post, and reading your reply, that maybe you meant playing or impersonating female characters in games or online or whatever. That, imho, is not very 'queer'. I could call it queer I think, but since I've done it myself on several occasions however, it would be silly.

So to round it all up, if you're into impersonating females then I'm sorry, 'cause that's actually simply fun. :p

You're understanding me
Transgenderality is people who believe they were born in another body...

Although many people would not believe me, I am one of those people.
