Needing common sense in that situation is so obvious it's funny. Needless to say, that lady musta slept in the day it was passed out. :twak:

Umm... no. Driving an SUV would not have saved you. If I'm reading correctly, that page is from the Czech Republic... where they recently had a *HUMONGOUS* flood. That pothole in the road was probably caused by the raising of the water table.

...and the moon was in the second hemosphere and jupiter and venus were aligned with the north star and I had a stubbed toe and a tree fell in the woods but nobody heard it, so no, an SUV would have made no difference :evil

Yanno, if she'd had a winch on the back, it woulda been simple to snag the tree and haul it right out. And if KFC could grow chicken legs on a millipede... :) But even without the winch, someone coulda got a rope wrapped around that tree and at least held the silly thing out of the hole completely.
It does just look like an ordinary puddle on the street. Appears to actually be a sinkhole of some sort.

I find it strange how the camera happened to be there, and that they were fast enough to take a picture just as the car hit the water; almost like it was setup.
