/me is confused.
Clicking on them does nothing for me. The original links are jpg files, not html files, so how is clicking on them supposed to help?

What? When you click on them they are links to bigger images. It's working ok for me. :/

Ok, let's take the first example:
http://www.thzclan.com/gallery/020917/jester_1_sm.jpg
That is the URL of a small .jpg file. Why is clicking on a jpg image in your browser going to take you to presumably another, differently named file? It doesn't make sense to me, or apparantly my browser. Now, if I was viewing a page with an "A" tag, with appropriate attributes and all that, I would understand clicking on it.
I'm using IE 6.0.2800.something and Win2k.
I'm not trying to be trouble or anything, or even at this point to see the big photos, but I am curious, as I said, as to why you'd think this would work. Is this some new feature that I'm missing out on? Where did you learn of this technique? Is there documentation somewhere? I ask you because, while I know quite a bit about programming and HTML and web browsers, you're much more of a professional web designer than I.

I don't understand why you are getting that link, here is the code for the page.
< a href="http://www.thzclan.com/gallery/020917/jester_1.jpg" target="_blank">
< img src="http://www.thzclan.com/gallery/020917/jester_1_sm.jpg" border="0" alt="">< /a>
The link and the displayed small image are two different URL's. (spaces added to html to stop if from displaying)
Here is what I see with IE6 on WinXP

A-HA! Here's a section of the original post's source as reported by my "view source". (Spaces added of course)
Was loads of fun < img src="images/smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0" alt="" >
< br />
< br />
< a href="http://www.thzclan.com/gallery/020917/jester_1.jpg" target="_blank" >
< a href="http://www.thzclan.com/gallery/020917/jester_1_sm.jpg" target="_blank">
http : //www.thzclan.com/gallery/020917/jester_1_sm.jpg < /a >< /a >
As you can see, I'm missing the img tag completely and the "A" tags end up nested.
It shows up that way on my Win2k desktop and my WinXP laptop, both running IE6, as well as my system at work. Here's what it looks like in my browsers:

I'm almost curious enough to write a little java app that reads the code directly and doesn't go through a browser. I've tried telnetting in to get it but I must be doing something wrong because it said connection refused on port 80.
But now I can understand why we're both confused. Your source should be doing what you say it's doing, and my souce should be doing what I say it's doing. The question now is how did we get different sources?

Your color is quite a bit different too :D
Ok I used straight HTML instead of using vBulleting code. Is it working now?

Yup, I see it just fine now. And I think the color is the .gif translation, 'cause it doesn't match mine either.
Still doesn't answer the question of why mine worked differently from yours. Stick a post somewhere and do that the other way so we can figure it out sometime. :)
