View Full Version : Your choice body/personality

Here's the deal. You explain who's body (in Anime/Video Gaming) you'd like, and who's personality you'd like... It doesn't have to be a long, drawn out explanation. Then, I'll go on a pic hunting spree/sound filehunting spree, and we'll post 'em... Dunno whether it'll be a go, but we'll try, right?
Cool...
Alrighty... For pick for body.... it would have to be Morrigan (My avatar).. Damn, I wish I had her body. She's got the bat thing going on, she's a succubus, she's immortal... She has everything I could ever want...
For personality... I would have to pick Naga, from The Slayers... She's so outgoing, and in your face... wow... (She's also got humungous breasts... I'd say that has something to do with her personality;))
Right... That's it. Post if you can... I'm going to try to liven this forum up, since I'm the moderator... let's make this place happening.

You guys are over looking soooo much OTHER anime. Think Ghost in the Shell. That is exactly what you area talking about. Your mind, in any body.... dude that would be soo cool. You could die, and still be alive somewhere else.... bette than the matrix, huh? anyhow, i digress. For my choice.... hmmm so many to choose.... I'd have to go with Lord Folken from Escaflowne. Those black wings are indescribably cool. Plus, they restract and grow at will!
http://www3.sympatico.ca/jeff.rishea/folken16.jpg
for mind, I'd have to go with Ashley Riot from Vagrant Story
http://www3.sympatico.ca/jeff.rishea/vstory_15.jpg
(God, I wish they'd make an anime of that...). He's got the: "I'm unstoppable, but I don't know what the hell's going on" kind of attitude. There you go. A Black-winged Riskbreaker Ryugin, not to mention Gymelef pilot...

Den of Earth.
I'm a cartoon fan, so if someone does not know who this is, it is a very famous cartoon, musical of sorts, that deals with absolute good and absolute evil.
Den ist gut at de pleasuring of de vimen.
Is vagrant story such a great game as the review say it is? Is it worth a rent

It's quite worth a rent... I have it for PSX, and it's amazing... I don't know if it has an amazing ammount of Replay value, but definitely worth one run through.
I guess I can put Suidoken2 aside for abit, consider Vagrant Story burned my this week and played alot next week since I'm done college friday :)

Nyaaa haa haa!! You will be setting yourself up the bomb! Ever played resident evil? Well, the item system in VS is even worse! Play the game, you'll see. My tips:
1 - Never have more weapons assenbled than you intend to use. If you have too many, and you find a really good one (after a battle), you'll be forced to disassemble it, rendering it useless until you can haul your butt to a workshop. As a general rule, always leave one assembled weapon slot open, especially before a boss battle.
2 - NEVER, EVER use MP restoring items unless you absolutely have to. They are sooooo rare, and the magic is incredibly costly. Save the mana roots/bulbs/potions for boss battles.
3 - If you see a dragon, run UNDERNEATH it. You will be hurting if you don't.
4 - If your RISK gets too high, get it down quick. Risk makes you less accurate and take MORE damage. Beware of high risk (100+).
5 - Find a use for the Enchanter Spells. They change the element of your weapon/armor. Just one of these spells in the right place can make a boss cower at your feet as he is unable to touch you, or your weapon does 2-4x damage to him - cutting the nastiest Flame Dragon down to size. Remember: Match elements for good Defence, Opposite elements for increased Attack.
Good luck, the game took me 40+ hours (can't crack the last boss yes...) to get to the end.
:hmm Jeff
Thanks alot MG, I should be playing him around next monday till i get bored I guess

I can't believe Kit didn't get in on this, it's her favourite movie... Prince Ashi-taka, forever exiled from his nation because of the curse...
PS - This censorship is getting really annoying... tell it to only look for the word by itself, or something... not the word as part of a bigger word... like pea****s (peacoc-ks) and A****aka (Ashi-taka)

I would have to say Tenchi because he always seems to get some hot woman drooling after him. Ryoko... mmmmm... happy thoughts. Plus he's a prince. :)
For the body part I would have to pick Gawl from Generator. He transforms in to a badass creature that kicks major butt.

When I was a kid, I wanted to be like Optimus Prime :D
Profile: If he had been on Earth, he would be a doctor, a mechanic, a scientist and a warrior. But on Cybertron there is no difference between these professions. So Optimus uses his skills to heal and repair- which are the same things to Autobots- to improve the world around him and, if necessary, to fight. Both in power and intelligence, he has no equal. He has the personality of an Abraham Lincoln. He can be immensely kind and his compassion extends to all that lives, including the creatures of Earth. Yet he will battle unceasingly to protect the weak and defend what he believes in. To accomplish this, Optimus knows that the Decepticons must be defeated for all time.
Abilities: In robot mode. Optimus Prime actually splits into three components. The Optimus module is the robotic sentient being that is the storehouse of his vast knowledge and strength. He can lift 4,000,000 lbs. and a blow from his fist exerts a force of 12,000 lbs. per sq. inch. He carries a laser rifle and can burn a hole in the nosecone of a Decepticon jet fighter at a distance of 30 miles, aided by his outstanding visual acuity. His Prime module, also known as Roller, is a small cart-shaped device that he uses to unobtrusively slip behind enemy lines. He can maintain radio control over it at distances up to 1200 miles. Having Roller present somewhere is like being there himself. He can operate by remote-control his Combat Deck module up to a distance of 1500 feet. The Auto-Launcher mounted on the Deck can use a variety of artillery and radiation beam weapons, including most of those used by his fellow Autobots. The Launcher also includes a highly dexterous grapple-arm which allows it to load itself and change its weaponry. The communications disk antenna mounted on the launcher provides a link between Optimus and all his fellow Autobots within a radius of 50 miles. It can be adapted to a satellite hook-up that increases its effective range 10-fold.
Weaknesses: Although Optimus Prime can function as three independent modules, injury to any one ot the modules is felt by the other two. Roller is particularly vulnerable, especially in the behind-the-lines situations in which he specializes. However, the Optimus module is by far the most important component of the trio. Although he could survive without the other two, they could not survive without him. Otherwise, the only weakness he could be accused of having is being too compassionate and concerned about the safety of others. He would be a more effective military commander if he were more ruthless, but then he wouldn't be Optimus Prime.

Isn't that just the nature of nearly everything.... except for Star Trek, which didn't reach its full potential until TNG, IMHO...

Never like Beast Wars, it was ok, but the original was the best.

Hrrrrm... I'd say the male co-star of Ghost In the Shell, the one with the funky 'eyes'. Cybernetics are sooo cool. :)
The original is always better, and Star :barf Trek just always sucked

I was reading this whole thing thinking "I know who I'd pick, no one's even mentioned him yet", but then BUG goes ahead and takes my choice!
Batou (the guy with the eyes from Ghost in the Shell) ruled. Spiffy implants, cool vision, and a great personality. He's more concerned about Kusinagi (the Major)'s nudity than she is, and you can see parts where he's really trying to be a gentleman.
That, and he's got a better voice actor and cooler lines. ;)

Ahhh, Red finally realizes the true power of the XMEN Mind Control Device(tm). It lets me steal all of his good ideas!
Cackling gleefully, Bug bounds stage left with an armload of Sirus's ideas!
