Angry "improvements"

Why the heck did we have to have a new patch for T2 that obviously hadn't been tested for compatibility with everyone? It doesn't make any sense... I want to practice, get my skilz up, and I'm stuck because Dynamix decided to release MAJOR changes to some of the graphics coding WITHOUT testing it on all cards they say T2 supports. I'm totally pissed off at this right now... totally.

uh... worked fine for me

We don't have the same cards, but I would check to make sure you have all the latest drivers and such for your card... and try a clean install... remove the drivers... shut down the comp... remove the card and put in your old one... restart to complete the removal then shut down, put the Voodoo back in and restart installing the new drivers. Then try getting the latest patch for T2.

Get DX8, refresh drivers, reinstall absolutely EVERYTHING you possibly can. Trust me, computers die of old age. Yours may just need a reinstall-overhaul.

Unhappy

It's not my computer... It's the patch. I have been able to play Tribes2 fine until this last release. I've installed all of the drivers twice now, and done 3 clean reinstalls for Tribes2. None of you guys use a Voodoo card, so you wouldn't understand. I'm not the only one with problems with this patch. UE's abound every single person who has a Voodoo that I've talked to.
