Yeah I was surprised. I've seen this type of product pop up off and on for nearly 10 years now, and they never get good reviews. It usually reads something like "While the concept is good and the glasses work well with a few select titles, the technology is still too young to be viable for most gamers." And the pricetag is 200+ as opposed to 70.
