Default City of Heroes, fun fun fun

At how friggin good this game is!
if you pre-buy, you can play righ tnow.(www.ebgames.com)
it is fully playable, polished, and unless you REALLY want to beta test(only 4 more days, until pre-orders, can buy retail version, i.e. launch day) you can play anytime, and keep your characters.
Every review I've read, talking up the hype on this game, is dead on. Characters, are completely customizable, heck even saw Conan O'Brien running around last night(I woulda used a different face, but this guy was almost dead on).
Heck I've recreated several of the characters, I was drawing in high school, with a friend, when we were trying to start our own comic
and missions are fun fun fun fun fun, meeting new people is easy, in fact, I haven't met one rude person, if you have a question, you just broadcat it, to everyone else playing. You will have an answer within minutes.
If anyone else, in playing beta already, or if anyone gets into it, post your server, and superhero, I'll track ya down to team-up.
Currently running, Silvermoon, I will probably create a NilKilla or InPsyte character sooner or later.

Yeah I have been hearing a lot of hype about it. Though playing a super hero seems kinda corny to me.

I've heard about the game here and there but not much on it.

Yes playing a super hero to me too sounds kinda corny.

Have fun though

that game would own if you could be a campy villan with an excessively long and overdone laugh, but evil would just be too easy, so i can see why they did'nt allow it

I don't like FPS games on consoles. I need the freedom and quick movement of a mouse and not the set rotation speed of a joystick. I tried the PC ver of Halo after having Halo on XBox for a long time and I liked it on PC much more.

agree with gryphon, gamepads suck for FPS, if i could hook up a KB/mouse and play WASD style on a console i'd grab it immediately

and BTW they announced city of villans

I love playing FPS games on xbox. Im with ya Maz . The rest of you just don't have the skillz we do to handle it .

Dynomutt plays alot of Rainbow Six 3 on xbox live. Wish they would get more racing games, good ones, that will do live. Im going to get the new Splinter Cell and see if he will play that with me .

counter-point being, keyboard and mouse + madden2003 bad. very bad
and since with ps2, (and I assume xbox) you still get updated rosters, I guess it makes no deifference which platforum you go with.
(still glad I missed halo , though bungie did succeed in my dream, of being a smaller developer, getting bought by the king of all publshers)
