Car from hell

I'm now afraid to drive my van... It almost killed me again last night >< As I was driving on the QEW in the blowing snow, some douche decided to cut me off going much slower than I was... only problem was that my brakes decided to cease functioning at that exact moment. I hit him, but he drove off and didn't see if I was alright
This isn't the first time I've had a really scary experience in this vehicle, with the alternator dying on me while driving home from my birthday dinner. That was more scary tho, 'cause all the dash lights were flickering like they were haunted, and I had no spedometer/gas/head lights... in the dark... in a dark green van.... yah, scary.
