I just stepped back into my apartment after being to an awesome concert downtown. Andreas Scholl, a german counter-tenor did a few pieces of Händel with The Gothenburg Symphonic Orchestra. Yes, counter-tenor, that's a male singing somewhere in the register of your average female alto. At least he looked like a male. I might have been mistaken, though. Anyway, he was phenomenal!
If any of you are into 18th century (baroque) music, you actually ought to check this guy out. Thinking of buying the record soon. Could perhaps share a few mp3s if anyone's interested.
